Who is contacting you

We are the data controller for the outreach described here. You can reach us at privacy@novosapien.ai.
Why you received an email from us
We contacted you because we believe your company may have a use for what we build. We are writing to you in your professional capacity, about your business, not about you personally.
What information we hold about you
Only what we need to write to you sensibly:
- your name and job title, where it is published;
- a business email address;
- your company's name, registered number, registered address, filing dates and SIC codes;
- publicly published information about what your company does, taken from your own website, including short quoted extracts we use to make sure anything we say about you is accurate.
We do not hold any special category data about you. We do not build a profile of you as an individual, and no automated decision is taken about you.
Where we got it
- Companies House, the public register of UK companies.
- Your company's own website, which we read the way any visitor would. We obey
robots.txtand we do not attempt to reach anything that is not published. - Trade association membership registers, where your company's membership is published.
- Your business email address, from your own website where you publish one, or from a contact-data provider.
We do not scrape LinkedIn.
Our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Our interest is in reaching businesses that may want what we offer. We have assessed this against your interests and rights, and we limit the intrusion by contacting a small number of companies, by writing to a business address about a business matter, and by stopping immediately when asked.
You can ask us for a copy of that assessment.
How long we keep it
- If you tell us to stop, or do not reply, we delete your contact details within six months.
- If you ask us to stop, we keep a permanent record of your email address and your company's domain, and nothing else. That record exists only so that we never contact you again. Deleting it would mean losing the instruction not to write to you.
How to make us stop
Any of these works, and all of them are permanent:
- reply stop to any email we send you;
- click the unsubscribe link in the email;
- email privacy@novosapien.ai.
We action it immediately. You do not need to give a reason.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it, or restrict what we do with it;
- object to this outreach, which we will always honour.

If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
